Caltrans Stockton Regional Headquarters Solar Project

Caltrans Stockton

California Department of Transportation, District 10, Stockton

Project Description: 1,380 solar photovoltaic modules configured in three separate arrays: roof mounted on the shop building, the new maintenance building, and a parking canopy next to the administration building. The total system has the capacity to generate 251 kWdc of peak power and 348,126 kilowatt hours of energy per year, installed by SunEdison LLC, with the cooperation and approval of Caltrans.

The solar photovoltaic system encompasses approximately 22,209 square feet for the three arrays located at the Caltrans District 10 Administration and Maintenance complex in Stockton.

The electricity generated from this project will be delivered directly to the building under a power purchase agreement with SunEdison LLC, who will own and maintain the system, which went online in June of 2007.
