Department of Rehabilitation (DOR)

WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE'RE DOING

The California Department of Rehabilitation works in partnership with consumers and other stakeholders to provide services and advocacy resulting in employment, independent living and equality for individuals with disabilities.

In calendar year 2015, the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) discovered a water leak at the DOR Orientation Center for the Blind facility in Albany, CA. Soon after the source was identified, it was promptly repaired. Increased water usage in 2015 was a direct result of this leak.
